She hails from Irvine in California whose impressive seven Olympic medal tally is underpinned by two gold, two silver and one bronze Olympic grandstand podium places. Clearly Amanda Beard has undoubted sporting talents.

Amanda Beard's other talents are under the microscope after she agreed to pose for the July issue of Playboy magazine which is no Big Deal, after all it is leanrt that she has previously been a cover girl for other men's magazines.

Simple Life or Adult life? Nevermind! Paris Hilton was sent screaming and crying back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that she must serve out her sentence behind bars rather than in the comfort of her Hollywood Hills home.

"It's not right!" shouted Hilton, who violated her probation in a reckless driving case. "Mom!" she cried out to her mother.

Hours earlier, the 26-year-old hotel heiress was taken handcuffed from her home in a black-and-white police car, paparazzi sprinting in pursuit and helicopters broadcasting live from above. She entered the courtroom disheveled and weeping, hair askew, without makeup, wearing a fuzzy gray sweat shirt over slacks.

Paris Hilton is visit by her psychiatrist in prison!

Simple life star Paris Hilton has been in jail for two days, and her psychiatrist was already paying her a visit at the facility.

Dr. Charles Sophy, who has been treating the hotel heiress for the past eight months, was the second person after Paris’ attorney Richard A. Hutton, who has paid Hilton a visit to check up on her.

Dr Sophy, who last month testified before a judge that Paris was too “emotionally distraught and traumatized” to participate in a 10 million dollar slander and libel lawsuit brought against her, stayed with the her for about two hours reports People magazine.

Paris Hilton had stolen Pop Song?

News.sawf.org reporsts that a jail sentence is not enough for Paris Hilton, for the socialite is at the center of a breach of copyright legal battle.

A 250,000 pounds injunction is being issued against her record label in the London High Court over claims that her debut pop single Stars Are Blind is a rip-off of the UB40 classic Kingston Town.

Kingston Town, penned by Kendrick Patrick, is one of UB40's most famous tracks and has sold millions of copies worldwide since its release in 1989.

Sparta Florida Music Group, which owns the copyright, is taking legal action against V2 Music Publishing, as well as Warner Chappell Music and songwriter/producer Fernando Garibay.

The writ claims that Stars Are Blind is a copy of a sizable part of Kingston Town.(Read More here)

Heidi Montag, 20-year-old star of MTV's The Hills recently got a bit of well-publicized work done, including a nose and boob job and that investment is already paying dividends. She's just been offered a hefty sum to pose nude for Playboy.

Montag's pimp fiancee - Spencer Pratt - says, "Playboy is interested in shooting Heidi's new body. They've offered her $1 million to be in the magazine."
